Halibut Fishing
Homer Alaska
Now
to get on with the real reason were here! Man can't live off
of scenery alone, he needs a little something to satisfy the
stomach as well as the mind. Our part of the great Alaskan
adventure is halibut charters
out of Homer Alaska. Our captain will park you right on top
of those Giant Halibut. You can't help but catch them till
your arms are sore. Our boat is coast guard inspected and
approved to fish up to twelve people.
We fish for the world famous Alaskan halibut from Kachemak
Bay in Homer Alaska. The scenery is as exciting as the
fishing. Every year Homer has a
Jackpot Halibut Derby from the seasonal months of May
thru September. Prizes are awarded for the five largest fish
each month. There are more than 100 other tagged fish worth
various amounts, they also award for the largest fish of the
season of which the winning amount has been anywhere from
$30,000 to $50,000 for that monster halibut. Be sure you
don't forget to buy that derby
ticket. The Tacklebuster has brought in several halibut
over 300 lbs. |
